Our vision
The glaciers are melting away, and it is important that we create new cooling habitats in their place.
Who will feed our rivers when the glaciers are gone? Reservoirs will retain the water. The keyword is "energy demand". We need more forests to store water and release it slowly into springs. Through the formation of humus and organic material, they also have a huge carbon sink potential.
We want to make moraines and debris fields greener, and use them as active carbon storage through photosynthesis and humic substances.
We want to encourage the growth of some adapted plant species, so that natural regeneration occurs under the protection of trees. It's not so much about planting a new forest as it is about preparing the terrain with as few planted trees as possible so that natural growth is accelerated. Don't worry, many succession areas will remain intact.
An opportunity to create your own carbon sink!
